Hi Reader!
Last month, I polled this group to see if you wanted a list of skoolie-friendly campgrounds [see the directory]. Overwhelmingly, you did! I buckled down and have now gathered close to 70 campgrounds across the USA and Canada that love a good school bus conversion. How cool is that?!
β
My goal with the directory is for it to be input-based by recommendation from skoolie-owners and also campground managers. Do you have a campground or several that you love to visit? Add them to the directory!

The campgrounds in the directory are paid camping. At a later date, I'll elaborate more on ways to find free camping in your skoolie, especially in major cities!
I currently am doing direct outreach to campgrounds to grow this list, but it's slow going. Help me speed up the directory growth by adding your favorite campgrounds here.
If you're at the beginning stages of building your skoolie, then you may also be a little overwhelmed with all the things you have to figure out... like building a plumbing and sewer system! I've documented our process in this Skoolie Plumbing Guide, including links to the products we used, a free floorplan template, and FAQs.

If you just need help with some aspects of your conversion like doing a roof raise or even a full build-out, the Skoolie Builder and Mobile Directory will help you find builders to help you at every stage of your build.

What information do you feel is missing in regard to living your best skoolie life? Let me know in a reply to this email. I respond to every email! This could be anything from re-titling your skoolie to an RV in Arkansas, getting it insured in Oregon, or even finding printed resources that guide you through a total DIY build-out.
